Think outside the box. Snow is not just for skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, tobogganing, snowmobiling or making snow angels. Some people love to ride the snow as if it was a big white wave.

335/365 – The White Factor
Even without looking at the numbers, one would know my project has come close to full circle when my first photo was this:
And today we are having this:

The White Factor

Someone is mighty delighted with the white factor
89/365 – The show must go on
It was starting to look and feel like spring, but in this part of the world, you just never know. We had snow waltzing down the sky all day today.
Funny how it is, yesterday I said: “I am tired of shooting winter scenes”. Well first thing this morning (I mean 6:30) I was out with my camera, because it was simply glorious. I guess we may get tired of it, but the beauty of a fresh snowfall is always magical to me.
68/365 – Playing Dead
We all know that in winter all is not really dead but dormant, resting and slowly getting ready to gather all the strength to come back in full force with the change of season. I know winter is long, especially in the North East and we often want to hate it. It’s not an easy season to live with. But honestly, how can we hate it when it has so much beauty to offer?
67/365 – White Waves
Winter is the king of showmen,
Turning tree stumps into snowmen
And houses into birthday cakes
And spreading sugar over lakes.
Smooth and clean and frosty white,
The world looks good enough to bite.
That’s the season to be young,
Catching snowflakes on your tongue.
Snow is snowy when it’s snowing,
I’m sorry it’s slushy when it’s going.
