Montreal’s Festival en Lumiere (would translate literally to Festival of Light) ends tonight. We went to the free outdoor site last night; what a festive and happy place to be! I have to say, my main purpose was to shoot the Ferris wheel, which I did. But there is much more to see and do. For free, you can ride “The Milk Urban Slide”, you can can zip along the site on “The RBC Zip-Line”, and there are many interactive activities to enjoy. You can also roast marshmallows or hot-dogs on the many open fire pits throughout the site. Honestly, if you are in the Montreal region and haven’t had a chance to go, make a point of getting there and do it tonight or you will have to wait for next year.
Seeking to find a suitable door for this week Norm 2.0 Thursday Doors, I went door hunting in Montreal’s downtown alleys again. This one sparked my interest.
The little unusual gems you find while driving through the city.
For this week’s edition of Norm 2.0 Thursday Doors challenge.
Driving by on Van Horne Avenue that door got my attention. I did not have my camera with me so I went back a few days later knowing it would be a fine find for Norm 2.0 Thursday Doors weekly challenge.
After a two week absence, I am back participating in Norm Frampton’s weekly challenge Thursday Doors. As you can see, I still can’t stay away from the grungy alley style.
New year, new door so to speak (!) because in this case, the doors are pretty old and ragged.
It is with pleasure that I am participating in Norm 2.0 Thursday Doors challenge again in 2016. Here is my first entry.
I really tried today but I couldn’t get an image that was satisfying enough to share with you. I decided to post a photo of the John Lennon Wall shoot in Prague in 2013.
It was an amazing moment of our trip to Prague. I didn’t know about the Lennon Wall. It was towards the end of our six hour bicycle ride through Prague that we discover it. If you have been following me for a little while, you know that I have a soft spot for graffiti of all kinds. This wall with its appearance and its amazing story brought smile/tears to my eyes. It’s with pleasure that I share it with you.
