Molson

If I say Molson, you are probably thinking “beer” or of our hockey team the “Montreal Canadiens”.

As far as cemeteries go,  Notre-Dame-Des-Neiges Cemetery is a wonderful one. I was there last Sunday on a photography outing with some friends. One never knows when a door will show its face kind of saying: “Wouldn’t I be a good one for Norm’s Thursday Doors?”

While strolling through the massive site, I came across the family tomb of the Honorable John Molson. Therefore I decided to part from my usual grungy/graffiti style this week to share my finding with you.

It rained during our morning walk and then, it started to snow, just like that!

265/365 – Wet Snowfall Colour Version

Back to the photos I am presenting in our group exhibition (Momenta), you might recall a black and white photo called “Wet Snowfall” on January 19th 2015, blog post 34/365. A photo seen through a computer monitor can look totally different once printed. I had “Wet Snowfall” printed and did not like the way it looked at all, but I wanted it to be part of the exhibit. So I decided to go back to the color version and reworked it. Once printed, that version was truly superior in my opinion.
