I was out shooting with friends this morning on the colorful streets of Plateau Mont-Royal. We came upon these guys who were filming a rap song video. We watch them for awhile and here are a few images I captured from the moment.
In Dorval, there is a little park named Jacques-De-Lesseps. This park is right along one of Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport’s runway. Aviation enthusiasts can sit and watch jet planes land and take off. For us photographers, their is a little hump that allows you to shoot above the fence that separates the park from the airport ground. I was there last Friday with my photography buddies from Momenta and we had a great time. It was quite an exercise in panning for me and this is the one I am the most proud of. I will be returning when the weather gets a little warmer.
I’ve included a little song that you may know 🙂 just for the fun of it.
I did not get to post this photo yesterday. I got home too late and needed to get up before sunset this morning, so I opted for bed instead of posting.
A night at the symphony, what a wonderful treat! This was taken as they were tuning, just before the show.
Montreal Symphony Orchestra tuning before the presentation.
“Turn! Turn! Turn!” by The Byrds
A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep
To everything – turn, turn, turn
There is a season – turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven
A time to build up, a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones
A time to gather stones together
To everything – turn, turn, turn
There is a season – turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven
A time of love, a time of hate
A time of war, a time of peace
A time you may embrace
A time to refrain from embracing
To everything – turn, turn, turn
There is a season – turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven
A time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time for love, a time for hate
A time for peace, I swear it’s not too late!
Maybe that is what life is about…
