New year, new door so to speak (!) because in this case, the doors are pretty old and ragged.
It is with pleasure that I am participating in Norm 2.0 Thursday Doors challenge again in 2016. Here is my first entry.

The holiday fever seems to spread to everyone.
Sometimes the frenzy surrounding the holidays shifts my reality.
Because it’s my first year anniversary on WordPress and because I want to end my project on the 24th, I decided to double-up today.
So here is my entry to Norm 2.0 Thursday Doors challenge. Another set of interestingly painted doors for you.
A year ago today, I decided to start a year long photography project. I have missed some days here and there because of sickness or travel. As I am nearing the end, I know for sure now that photography is not a fleeting interest in my life. I am looking forward to being able to spend more time shooting, picking and editing without having the pressure to publish everyday.
In the meantime, I shot these one from my car today, protected from the rain.
I did not get to post this photo yesterday. I got home too late and needed to get up before sunset this morning, so I opted for bed instead of posting.
A night at the symphony, what a wonderful treat! This was taken as they were tuning, just before the show.
Montreal Symphony Orchestra tuning before the presentation.
A couple of ghost like figures spinning inside a revolving door, is my contribution for this week’s Thursday Doors edition.
So many garage doors in this alley were painted. As part as the Thursday Doors challenge, I am sharing with you today the first duo. There will be more to come.
I also have to share this very unusual, interesting one. I didn’t think it was worthy of its own entry for today’s challenge but nonetheless. I had never seen something like that. It’s kind of the “Shower curtain” version of a garage door!
Here we go on to the next holiday, on to the next tree, unloading, loading up.
