Fifty-Two Interrupted… Seriously Interrupted

Hello all,

I didn’t mean to take a brake but I did. And a long one it was.

I hope to be back on a regular basis but I make no promises. I have many photos shot during the last summer months that I would like to share with you. I have to get my things in order.

Here is a first one shot in Berlin, Germany in June.

I am in love with Berlin, so you will most likely see a few more from our vacation in the weeks to come.

9/Fifty-Two, Lights and Snow

Montreal’s Festival en Lumiere (would translate literally to Festival of Light)  ends  tonight. We went to the free outdoor site last night; what a festive and happy place to be! I have to say, my main purpose was to shoot the Ferris wheel, which I did. But there is much more to see and do. For free, you can ride “The Milk Urban Slide”, you can can zip along the site on  “The RBC Zip-Line”, and there are many interactive activities to enjoy. You can also roast marshmallows or hot-dogs on the many open fire pits throughout the site. Honestly, if you are in the Montreal region and  haven’t had a chance to go, make a point of getting there and do it tonight or you will have to wait for next year.

225/365 – Rewinding

In June 2014 our daughter Ella turned 18. We wanted to offer her something special. We asked her what she would like. A few days later, she texted me while I was spending the weekend with my husband at our house in Upper New York State. She wanted to go on a trip with me and wanted me to surprise her with the destination. I knew she always wanted to see LA. So on August 3rd 2014, the two of us got on a jet plane in Mtl and some  5hours + later, landed in LA.

This week, I am revisiting some of the photos I shot while there. We had a fantastic time. It was truly a great destination and we hope to return at some point.
