8/Fifty-Two, Early start to end the week

I have never been disappointed by a sunrise.

Last Monday, I got up early. Darkness surrounded me as  I walked to the beach, camera and tripod in hand. It was quite overcast. A few clouds are always a good thing, but were there too many that morning? The full moon was facing opposite the beach, looking down on me. I was the only human at this early time . I felt great. What followed was nothing short of amazing. I  witnessed the most spectacular sunrise I have seen to this day. It was glorious!

As week number 8 is fading into memories, I have assembled  a selection of photos I took that morning with my Canon and my iPhone. I present them to you in chronological order to give you a sense of what occurred on the beach that morning.

Stop that train

Everywhere I go, I find myself looking for different, yet interesting doors. Norm Frampton’s Thursday Doors challenge occupies a permanent place in my brain. He must be  pretty pleased about that.

While on an early morning walk in southern Florida, that train caught my eye. A train with graffiti on it; I like it. It must have a door?  You can’t have a train without a door. I needed to get closer to see. I don’t know much about trains. Two days later we walked by again and this time I went up close… Bingo! I found multiple doors. Here are a few that I am pleased to share with you.
