Today I am showing you a photo I shot in Dubai last November. This image was also shown in a group exhibition I took part of in late November 2014.
A camera can not only capture reality but it can also transform it. What makes the difference is how you choose to see and portray it.
It was starting to look and feel like spring, but in this part of the world, you just never know. We had snow waltzing down the sky all day today.
Funny how it is, yesterday I said: “I am tired of shooting winter scenes”. Well first thing this morning (I mean 6:30) I was out with my camera, because it was simply glorious. I guess we may get tired of it, but the beauty of a fresh snowfall is always magical to me.
Simple, quiet and inviting, this is how I perceive this place.
I am aware it is Friday the 13th and she is a cat, but she is not black and she is lovely.
Her name is Mona Lisa and she tends to shy away from the camera but here, comfortably resting on her sister (Miss Vicky which you’ll get to see better some other time) she could not care less about me and my lens staring at her.
